The Kastaars is a live TV award show that is simultaneously broadcast on all major channels in Flanders. It is an exceptional collaboration across all channels. The show shines a spotlight on outstanding achievements in various categories within the media landscape over the past year.
The show was broadcast from the Studio100 Pop-up Theater in Puurs. This theater consists of 8 large mobile LED towers, making almost all backdrop decor digital. There were also long catwalks with floor LEDs.
For the second year in a row, New Solid was tasked with producing all video content for the LED panels of the show.
Initially, this involved translating the existing Kastaars Look & Feel, designed by Lieven Van Overbeke, onto the screens during the entire award section.
In addition, there were musical performances for which we also created custom video animations.
