New Solid created a video mapping to launch the new branding of the Vlerick Business School.
The show was attended by the prince of Belgium, our current king.
The old outdated branding would be replaced by a new refreshing look. (rebranding by Landor)
That’s why we came up with this scenario.
We started underperforming by projecting a small 4:3 area on a huge screen.
Next the video would break out the 4:3 borders to fill up the entire screen.
Next the video jumped over to the platform to start the video mapping.
By constantly putting the audience on the wrong track, we created an overwhelming visual effect.
After the launch the platform was used as a tribune for the guest speakers.
